We hope you make use of our new Toy Library - any comments or suggestions please speak to one of our volunteers.
How do I borrow items from the Toy Library?
You will need to register to use the toy library, which is free of charge. This means that you can then borrow items from the library without being required to attend the Baby and Toddler group.
When does the Toy Library run?
The toy library will run on Fridays following the Baby & Toddler group, 11.15am – 12.15pm.
How much do toys cost to borrow?
As a rough guide prices will be between 50p for small toys and £1.00 for larger and/or battery operated toys. Please see the individual Toy Information Sheets for exact prices.
How long can I borrow toys for?
We aim to loan toys out for two weeks. If you are unable to return a toy after two weeks, we would appreciate it if you could let one of the leaders know that you need to keep it a little longer and return it as soon as possible.
Can I borrow more than toy at a time?
Yes, but we ask that no more than two toys per family are borrowed.
Can I reserve a toy?
Yes, if there is a toy that you would like to borrow and it is currently unavailable you can request it by adding your name to the lending list for that item.
What happens if a toy I have borrowed get damaged?
We expect that there will be a certain amount of wear and tear on toys and understand that accidents do happen. Please let us know if there are any missing parts to an item that you have borrowed or if it has become damaged or broken. Toys that we loan out are also for general use in the baby and toddler group. Unfortunately if we find that items are returned damaged on a regular basis, we will have to approach you regarding replacement.
Please view a selection of the toys available below - please come along as we have many more available!
